BG4
The BG4 Model is the first instrument developed in this series of custom Basses.
The body, made of Mahogany, gives a full tone, and the soundboard, made of flamed Maple, adds clarity and precision to its sound. Although it’s a fretless, it offers excellent definition of the low notes without sounding muddy, while the high notes are warm and singing. Equipped with a Bartolini ‘Musicman’ in the bridge-position and a DiMarzio ‘Ultra-Jazz’ in the neck-position, combined with either an Aguilar or Bartolini preamp (2 or 3 bands eq), this Bass just sounds big.
As with all Basses from B&G Kaufmann the choice of wood and the high level of craftsmanship gives you an instrument with well-balanced sound and excellent playing comfort. This concept gives perfect definition to each note and each little detail you’d like to express through your playing. This bass is especially suited for Reggae, Fusion or Jazz.
